How far in advance should I place my order?

I highly recommend placing orders at least 2 - 3 weeks in advance for any special order as my schedule does book up. For weddings, I recommend placing your order at least 2 - 3 months in advance of your wedding date. All desserts are available only through pre-order. I do not guarantee availability until an order has been confirmed.

How much do custom cakes cost?

Every cake at Sima's Baking is fully custom, so pricing is based on size, design, and the level of detail involved. Custom cakes start at $140, with most birthday cakes ranging between $180 and $260, and wedding or large celebration cakes priced individually based on tiers and design.

How do I pay?

I accept Zelle and Venmo. Once we've finalized your design and quote, full payment is required to confirm and secure your date. Your spot is officially yours the moment payment is received.

Do you deliver?

Sima's Baking is currently curbside pickup only in Boca Raton, FL to ensure your cake arrives at your event in absolutely perfect condition. All orders are beautifully packaged and ready to travel safely with you.

For weddings and larger event orders, delivery may be available upon request — please mention this when you inquire so we can discuss the details.

Are your cakes kosher?

My kitchen operates kosher style — meaning I follow kosher principles in my ingredients and preparation, but my space is not certified kosher. All ingredients are dairy-conscious, and dairy-free options are available to keep your celebration parve when needed. If you have specific kosher requirements for your event, please mention this when you inquire and we'll make sure your cake fits beautifully.

Do you offer vegan, gluten-free and parve desserts?

Yes! Vegan, gluten-free, and parve options are available. Please mention this when filling out the Order Inquiry form and I'll take care of the details.

If I provide a photo of what I want, are you able to recreate it?

Yes! I am happy to use your image as inspiration while adding my own artistic flair. 

What if I need to cancel an order?

Cancellations must be submitted at least 14 days before your event to be eligible for store credit. Retainer deposits are non-refundable

Do you make party favors, such as cake pops?

Absolutely! Custom party favors are a client favorite. Mention this in your Order Inquiry form and we'll create something beautiful together.

Can I order a small cake to cut and a matching sheet cake to serve guests?

Absolutely! Sheet cakes are available when ordering any custom tiered cake. Minimum of 20 servings. Sheet cake is $6 per serving.
